How to Incorporate Biko Sports Bands Resistance Training

Goal

To build up to 20 minutes for two to three weeks before moving to next level of resistance – light resistance (green); medium resistance (orange) strong resistance (royal blue)

  1. Introduce your dog to the green (light resistance) Bands for 5 minutes for the first week (3x in one week)
  2. Add 1 minute per session second week – so an increase of 2-3 minutes per week depending on how often you decide to condition your dog.
  3. Once you reach 20 minutes of conditioning – stay with it for two (2) to three (3) weeks before switching to the next level of resistance – orange (medium resistance) Bands
  4. Repeat the protocol for each level of resistance – reach 20 minutes two or three times a week for two to three weeks before moving on to the next Resistance Band – royal blue
