How And Where Can I Get Biko PR Bands?

The Biko PR Bands come in an individual kit for clients to use at home and a practice kit for practitioners to use in their facility.

You can purchase the BIKO PR Bands Individual Kit:
1. Through your veterinarian/rehab practitioner, or
2. Order directly from us –and your veterinarian/rehab specialist has recommended it for your dog.

Home use for patients

For dogs that would benefit from continual use at home, ordering Biko PR Bands individual kit contains three sets of PR Bands that are tailored to meet your dog’s rehab requirements (yellow – light resistance, red – medium resistance, or green – strong resistance), one set of padded foot cuffs, and three sets of extenders that can be used to increase/decrease resistance.

For your practice

The Biko PR Bands Practice Therapy Kit is specifically designed for use in your clinic as an additional physiotherapeutic modality. The kit comes complete with: one set of each resistance strength (yellow – light, red – medium, green – strong) in all seven sizes (21 pairs) , seven sets of extender straps, and one set of cuffs in each size (sizes 1 to 4). For your convenience we also include Roman harnesses.

How And Where Can I Get Biko Sports Bands?

The Biko Sports Bands come in an individual kit for clients to use at home and a practice kit for rehab practitioners, dog trainers and dog handlers.

You can purchase the BIKO SPORTS Bands Individual Kit:

Through your rehab practitioner, trainer-handler, or
You can order directly from us.

For home use

The goal is to incorporate Elastic Resistance Training into Your Dog’s Conditioning Program: beginning with light resistance Bands, building up to 20 minutes for two to three weeks, then moving up to the next two levels of resistance. Then continue on a maintenance level.

For your practice

The Biko Sports Bands Practice Kit is specifically designed for use at your facilities and training centers. The kit comes in one set of each resistance strength (lime green -light, orange – medium, royal blue – strong). The Practice Kit comes in sizes 3,4,5 and 6. Sizes 1 and 2 (small dogs) and size 7 (giant dogs) can be added to your practice kit, as well as making them to order for smaller or larger sized dogs.

Biko PR Bands and the Biko Sports Bands are guaranteed to meet highest quality standards.

The Bands are hand-made in North Carolina and meet the highest quality standards. Our manufacturer works closely with us to ensure consistency and quality. If you find a defect in the workmanship of the bands, the extender straps, or the padded cuffs, contact us for immediate replacement.

Similar to the elastic resistance bands used by humans, repeated stretching and relaxing of the elastic material causes fatigue and loss of therapeutic effectiveness. The PR Bands and the Biko Sports Bands should be replaced every three to six months depending on a number of factors: weight of dog, frequency and duration of use, and climate. Replacement Bands or padded cuffs can be ordered by call us or sending us an email.

The Biko PR Bands are protected by a patent (no. 7150248) and Trademark Reg. No. 6,858,589 in the US and Canada.
